By accessing or using DISBOARD, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DISBOARD ("we," "us," "our") governing your access to and use of disboard.online, including all content, features, and services offered. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use DISBOARD. By using the site, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. Users in the EEA must be at least 16 unless parental consent is obtained.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Discord OAuth Login

DISBOARD uses Discord OAuth for authentication. By logging in, you grant us access to your Discord profile information as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of Discord is governed by Discord's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

3.2 Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • You must not share your credentials or allow others to access your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.

4. Server Listings

4.1 Submission Requirements

When submitting a Discord server to our directory, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are an administrator or owner of the Discord server, or have been authorised to list it.
  • The server complies with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
  • All information provided (description, tags, category) is accurate and not misleading.
  • The server does not promote illegal activities, hate speech, harassment, or adult content in violation of Discord's policies.

4.2 Prohibited Content

The following server types are not permitted on DISBOARD:

  • Servers promoting or facilitating illegal activities
  • Servers containing or promoting child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
  • Servers promoting hate speech, discrimination, or harassment based on protected characteristics
  • Scam, phishing, or malware distribution servers
  • Servers that violate Discord's Community Guidelines
  • Servers created solely for spam or follower manipulation

4.3 Moderation Rights

We reserve the right to remove, suspend, or reject any server listing at our sole discretion, without prior notice, including but not limited to listings that violate these Terms or that we deem inappropriate.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 DISBOARD Content

All original content on DISBOARD—including our logo, design, interface, and written content—is owned by or licensed to us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute this content without our express written permission.

5.2 User-Submitted Content

By submitting a server listing (including descriptions, tags, and images), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content on DISBOARD for the purpose of operating the directory. You retain ownership of content you submit.

5.3 Discord Trademarks

DISBOARD is an independent directory. "Discord" and the Discord logo are trademarks of Discord Inc. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc.

6. Advertising

DISBOARD may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising networks. These advertisements help us operate the site free of charge. By using DISBOARD, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Advertisements may be targeted based on your browsing behaviour and interests.
  • Third-party advertisers operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
  • We are not responsible for the content or accuracy of third-party advertisements.
  • Clicking on advertisements may take you to third-party websites governed by their own terms.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access, collect, or harvest data without our prior written consent
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the site's infrastructure
  • Use the site to transmit spam, malware, or other harmful content
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Use the site for any purpose that violates applicable law
  • Manipulate server rankings, reviews, or member counts through artificial means

8. Third-Party Links and Services

DISBOARD contains links to third-party websites and services (including Discord server invite links). We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or actions. Accessing third-party content is at your own risk.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

DISBOARD is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DISBOARD and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed £100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DISBOARD and its operators from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in this clause prevents you from seeking injunctive relief in any jurisdiction.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to DISBOARD at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease.
